{"id":836,"date":"2013-06-07T12:22:37","date_gmt":"2013-06-07T19:22:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.flyfishersproshop.com\/blog\/?p=836"},"modified":"2013-06-07T12:22:37","modified_gmt":"2013-06-07T19:22:37","slug":"methow-valley-fish-report-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.flyfishersproshop.com\/blog\/2013\/06\/07\/methow-valley-fish-report-8\/","title":{"rendered":"Methow Valley Fish Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Methow Valley Fish Report<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Awesome damsel dry fly action on Big Twin Lake.\u00a0 The trout have been crowding the shore line crashing down on adult damsel flies.\u00a0 If the action slows, go to the damsel nymph and find them down deep.\u00a0 All the river flows came up this week.\u00a0 Looks like the final melt has begun.\u00a0 But, there is some action to be had.\u00a0 Boulder Creek and Twisp River are both pumping hard, but should calm down in the next few weeks.\u00a0 The Chewuch River has some good back eddy holes that are holding fish but they are few and far between.\u00a0 The Methow River is starting to fish well.\u00a0 There has been a stone fly hatch that started coming off last week.\u00a0 Nice sized cutthroat are crashing dow on big drys with droppers.\u00a0 River Gear:\u00a0 4-5 wt dry fly hopper\/dropper set up, a deep stone fly nymphing rig with a strike indicator and a 6-7 wt sinking line with a big bugger\/nymph set up.\u00a0 Lake Gear: 3-4 wt dry fly rig (damsel or callibaetis) and a 5-6 wt sink tip with a damsel nymph.\u00a0 The rivers are still to high to wade across so be careful and watch your step.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions about my report, reply to this post down below.\u00a0 I will answer your questions as soon as possible.\u00a0 Tight Lines &#8211;
