{"id":806,"date":"2013-05-02T07:59:25","date_gmt":"2013-05-02T14:59:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.flyfishersproshop.com\/blog\/?p=806"},"modified":"2013-05-02T07:59:25","modified_gmt":"2013-05-02T14:59:25","slug":"methow-valley-fish-report-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.flyfishersproshop.com\/blog\/2013\/05\/02\/methow-valley-fish-report-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Methow Valley Fish Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Methow Valley Fish Report<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Lakes are open and fishing well.\u00a0 Opening day proved to be fruitful to those who made it out.\u00a0 Big Twin and Pearrygin lake produced some big lunkers.\u00a0 Slowly retrieved black and red chronomids were the top choices.\u00a0 I used a sink tip with a green wooly bugger to start out and did well.\u00a0 When chronomid fishing, use a 5wt rod with floating line.\u00a0 Cast and let the flies sink slowly.\u00a0 Slowly retrieve the flies back while keeping an eye on the fly line.\u00a0 If the fly line begins to straighten out, strip set and hopefully a fish ate your bugs.\u00a0 Experiment with colors and sizes to dial in what the fish want.\u00a0 Ill be fishing each of the lakes listed below and have detailed reports to come.\u00a0 I have also added more detailed info on the lakes to help you decide where to fish. \u00a0Check out Keller&#8217;s limit of trout he caught on Sat. \u00a0He is starting to out fish me. \u00a0If you have any questions about my report, reply to this post down below.\u00a0 I will answer your questions as soon as possible.\u00a0 Tight Lines &#8211;
