Hank the Tank<\/p><\/div>\n

Being back on the river has felt great. In the past few weeks I’ve seen my friend Hank “the Tank” return to his home stretch of river and met a few new faces too. \u00a0Smoke and heat have been a pretty sure bet but there have been some clear days too depending on winds. Regardless it’s been well worth getting out there.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget the Twisp and Chewuch will close on the 15th of August. I took the morning to hit a favorite hole on the Chewuch yesterday and was pleasantly suprised by some very nice fish on the olive stemi and mini hopper. As well the Methow will be closing it’s lower and upper-most reaches so read your regs well.<\/p>\n

The name of the game for me as of late has been a combo of BIG hoppers and when the heat beats fish down golden stones and PT’s or other nymphs. Target deep structure and heads or holes.<\/p>\n
