Warm day with large ice chunks floating down river. The air was warm but the water was still very cold. 4 hr of fishing 2 holes. Nada. We did see 2 small Steelhead under the Twisp bridge. But, too small to target that day. – Greg

The recent snow and over cast days have warmed up the water. This should bring the fish back up and pick up the bite. I will have real temp #’s soon. We are working on a new web site with more function. Stay tuned.
My buddy and guide Brian Witney called in a report from Rufus Woods. Limit of nice sized triploids landed on fly rods. Sink tip and wooly buggers were doing the trick. Cast to shore and strip back.
